Argon can be used as an ideal shielding gas, even at high temperatures commonly encountered in metallurgy and arc welding, with its most important chemical property, inertness.
The most important feature of oxygen is its reactivity. There are very few elements that oxygen will not react to. Oxidation and combustion processes can be significantly accelerated in an oxygen-rich atmosphere compared to normal air. This property makes oxygen indispensable for the metabolism of many organisms and is therefore also used for numerous water treatment and environmental technology applications.
Nitrogen is used in gas phase due to its inert property, as well as liquid for cooling and freezing. Depending on the area of use, we offer liquid nitrogen and compressed nitrogen gas in purity and concentrations suitable for your demands.
Acetylene is a highly flammable gas hydrocarbon. It is colorless, unstable and very flammable with a strong garlic odor. Used in welding and in the production of chemicals, this gas produces a very high temperature flame when combined with oxygen. It is a very unstable compound and decomposes on ignition over a wide range of pressures and temperatures, so acetylene is stored as a stabilized solution under pressure and dissolved in acetone.
